Teachers at Chase High School are organized by subject specific departments. Each department has a department chair, and meets once a month where best practices and evaluation of student progress are examined. Each department is then further organized by specific courses in the department. Each of these specific course groups form professional learning communities (PLC). PLCs meet weekly where best practices, teaching strategies, and student progress are discussed within the context of the specific course.
