RCS recognizes 2020 National Board Certified Teachers

Rutherford County Schools celebrates 4 new National Board Certified Teachers. These teachers join a growing community of Board-certified teachers, now more than 118,000 strong across all 50 states. Each of these accomplished educators earned the profession’s highest mark of achievement through a rigorous, performance-based, peer-review process, demonstrating their proven impact on student learning and achievement.

We are county champs in football, so let's beat East and R-S in getting the FAFSA completed by Jan. 31, 2020.
Any senior to complete the FAFSA by 1/31/20 will be rewarded with a hot chocolate bar party and all the trimmings.

Chase High Students Featured on WLOS

Students in the Chase High Media Center used Rubik's Cubes to create a mosaic of the school mascot. Chase High Media Specialist, Lisa Randlett, said the activity in the "Maker Space" promotes 21st century skills like problem solving and critical thinking.

Francis Named State Finalist

Jill Francis, Chase High School science teacher, was recently named as a finalist for the Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching.
