CHASE Families,
CHASE High School implemented a soft lockdown earlier today upon the advice of local enforcement personnel and in response to events outside Rutherford County that could pose a heightened risk. Those events have been resolved, and the soft lockdown has been lifted.
While there is no evidence at this time to suggest any heightened risk in or around CHASE High School, additional law enforcement personnel will be in the area throughout the afternoon and evening.
We are grateful to our students for their cooperation, and grateful to our families for entrusting their students to our care. As always, we take real and possible risks seriously, and we always take appropriate steps to safeguard our students and campus.
